This is a great super sprint event, my first time of giving it a go, and probably now my favourite local event. Registration and racking were all simple and painless, It is a very short swim but that suits me, a great one lap bike course with all left turns and a nice 2 lap run round a couple of fields.
Absoutely perfect for beginners and still a good course for the more experienced triathletes, highly recommended and looking forward to going back next year!

2nd time here, last year took part Sunday Marshalled the Saturday , this year the I switched the days.
Both days were equally enjoyed.
Lovely pool - short swim, fastest swim first up and down four lanes of 20m pool. shallow water with easy pool exit to transition.
Bike route covers quiet country roads, scenic and very beautiful. One loop (left turns only)
Run short - XC two laps of farming field.
Brilliantly organised, Marshalled and supported.
Whether a first timer or more experienced you will not be disappointed.
Chip Timing, Medal, overall winning trophies M&F 1st, 2nd and 3rd and AG wins.

This was my first triathlon and doing it at stradbroke was an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is so relaxed and everyone there was happy to help and get involved. I would thoroughly recommend this event for those wanting to do a triathlon because it is just great! At no point did I feel under any pressure or worry and I think thats how everyone should feel before a race. Thank you for a great weekend and I hope to see you next year!

2nd year of entering and once again fantastic event,very well organised by Carolyn and her team. Marshalled on Saturday event, enjoyed encouraging every competitor,from the super competitive to the novices (well done to all).Personnally smashed my previous years time by 7 minutes on Sunday morning event,very rewarding and now a further challenge for 2019 event.Great event for novice as distances not too long,hoping to persuade my wife to take part next year as such a friendly event. Well done to all involved in it’s organisation
