Stockley Park has some really lovely trails. It’s not for people who love a Flat course as this is anything but and very hilly.

They had 1 water station at around the 3 mile mark which I think is sufficient enough.

Although the marshals were great I don’t think there was enough. There were some parts of the routes where there were no arrows and so it became confusing when trying to navigate throughout the course.

It’s not PB worthy due to the hills and narrow paths but still a great course.

It was very enjoyable but disappointing when I didn’t get the tshirt in my size even though I chose my size while I booked my place.

It has a Costa and Greggs there which is useful for toilet run and if you get hungry.

I do love this race, It has everything you need, lovely countryside, excellent parking, and a great medal and shirt.

Would say though, that the water station at 5km, could do with having bottles instead of half-filled plastic cups.

The race is always nicely put together, a nice little warm-up/cooldown area, with some hay bails to sit on and relax.  Decent baggage drop area, a few food stands, and some kids play along bits.  Set in a country park, Stockley is nice and quiet ( apart from crossing the M25 twice ).  Very well marshalled today, as the weather stayed warm and was into the 24-degree range, there were a few on-course incidents, but the marshalls got to them quickly enough for them not to become dangerous for the affected runners.

All in all a really good day out for both runners and families.  I definitely will be coming back next year.

Nice local 10K event for me. Plenty of parking on site. I offered to warm up the runners last minute so that was new experience for me. The organisers are friendly and race village had a few stalls, including a pick and mix stand which was a win for me. The organisers also got Granny Turismo to entertain everyone and also hand out the winners trophies at the end of the race.

The course itself was a mix of running around Stockley Park's wide roads and also trail running around the outskirts of Stockley Park Gold Course. There were some serious inclines in places so you have to pace yourself. Some runners were caught out by a confusing point in the course. Not so much a negative for me as I managed to stay on track but it might help to make sure signs are pointing in the right way and having a marshal to make sure peole don't get lost. The event is chip timed and the medal is really cool.
