The support and the friendliness of the event staff was amazing. This was my first lake swim triathlon, I was incredibly nervous of the swim but the lake safety team were incredible as they made me feel safe in the water and gave me such encouragement I can't thank them enough. It was a very well organised event, it was a so welcoming and inclusive to everyone regardless of their ability. A very beginner friendly event and I would recommend it as a first triathlon as it was such a fabulous atmosphere . A huge thank you to the team.

Great event, excellent organisation, friendly marshals, great pre race info, water quality seemed good, maybe one more buoy would have been good as was a little hard to navigate especially from buoy 2 to 3, easy bike course to navigate, quite a lot of car traffic which did hold things up a few times but wasn't too bad, great run course, commentator was excellent . Overall a great event which I will do again

Great race, first time that I have competed at Stewartby and loved it!!! As usual with ATW this was a really well run event and the atmosphere was positive and encouraging especially for first time racers. Overall a fab race which I will do again.

My first time at Stewartby but I will be returning! Easy to get to, a slightly long, slightly choppy swim which makes it slightly tougher, but a brilliantly fun bike course that really lends itself to flat, fast time trialling and then a very pretty run route. The run is mostly g...

My first time at Stewartby but I will be returning! Easy to get to, a slightly long, slightly choppy swim which makes it slightly tougher, but a brilliantly fun bike course that really lends itself to flat, fast time trialling and then a very pretty run route. The run is mostly gravel path and trails - don't expect any tarmac - but I love the out and back nature of both the bike and run as it meant I could see my club mates throughout the race, and being able to support each other on the bike and run made it a really great club outing.

Another fantastic ATW Event. This is a superb location. Easy parking, beautiful lake, fantastic facilities, and definitely a PB course. It’s a fast and flat bike route out and back x 4 - if only I had charged my Di2 it would definitely have been a PB course for me. As with all the ATW Events I have done pre-race communication, on the day logistics, safety and marshalling is all second to none. The commentary and carmaraderie of the event was great and the finish line had a fantastic selection of goodies. Free photos to download too! The rain was even stopped before the race start too! What is not to like?!

All good, I was the only wheelchair athlete but finished the full Standard distance tri'. Swim was easy entry and exit without assistance, choppy water but expected as it is a sailing club and a very large open lake. The bike stage was fairly flat and very smooth with only 2 s...

All good, I was the only wheelchair athlete but finished the full Standard distance tri'. Swim was easy entry and exit without assistance, choppy water but expected as it is a sailing club and a very large open lake. The bike stage was fairly flat and very smooth with only 2 small potholes, that the bicyclists would have missed. I didn't see anyone with a puncture which is unusual, but not surprised as the surfaces were very clean. For me the run, using a race chair, was hard to push as it was on a harden grit surface, I prefer a tarmac but all triathlons are different and I belligerently continued, a good surface for the runners as foresty and different from the usual open uninteresting but tough for me, so extremely proud to finish. The stewards were great always offering to lend a hand when needed, but that was mainly unnecessary as I did virtually everything myself, so are there any wheelies willing to take on this event and beat my time? Thoroughly enjoyed it except the rain at the start that turned into lovely sunshine at the end of the swim.
