Reducing the amount of time is St Neots needs to be considered, admittedly the weather was extreme for the race but getting stuck in the local traffic was not pleasant. A single look would make that problem 50% better

Great friendly race, with some of the best marshall's I've encountered, checking in on you and cheering you on. I was a little surprised they didn't test brakes on bikes before letting you into transition as they did at all other tri's I've done but apart from that it's an iconi...

Great friendly race, with some of the best marshall's I've encountered, checking in on you and cheering you on. I was a little surprised they didn't test brakes on bikes before letting you into transition as they did at all other tri's I've done but apart from that it's an iconic river swim, a beautiful park and fast quiet country roads which makes for a great event.

Great event, very well organised and very recommended for first timers. I tried this last year as my first tri and went back this year for my second. Marshals and participants are very friendly and supportive. It is easy for supporters as well as it is all close by. Although I would like to point out a couple of things (sorry if I don’t understand the reason for this as I said I’m very inexperienced): There was a purple buoy included at the end of the swimming this year and I found very difficult to swim around since the standard distance were catching up with many of us and trying to turn around for the second loop, so we all ended up being on the way of each other. There was also a slightly change on the bike leg by the end (probably this was explained on the map but I hadn’t realised). It was very draining to think that I had arrive to the end to actually having to go up another hill and cycle back .. Apart from that it’s all 10/10, atmosphere and all is wonderful! Thank you so much!

A very well organized event with friendly atmosphere and lovely staff & marshals. Short distance from swim exit to transition was a definite bonus too. I absolutely loved the quality and design of the medals - both the finisher and the podium place one. Finish area was also well stacked with good choice from Red Bull to GT85 cans :) The only drawback was an insane amount of cars present on the very short super sprint route. I'm aware that this should be expected when racing in a town and it was outside of ATW control but it was an issue if someone wanted to push hard on the bike. The swim was nice in a very warm and shallow river with practically no current at all. Run was flat within the park. Overall I was really impressed and I'm already looking forward to signing up for other ATW events!

A very well organised and friendly event, particularly good for spectators with everything so close together which I think you should hi light as it’s not often like this. Great for first timers to get lots of support :) A tannoy at the briefing is essential as it was too noisy to hear everything and the below were probably mentioned but not heard. Not all participants can digest pre race information on paper but once at the event good, clear explanations just prior to racing are more likely remembered. I think the entry to transition after the bike should be clearer as several participants turned into the car park. Also you should hi light the continue past the turning and loop the roundabout to finish as i saw several people miss this too although the weather potentially didnt help this. Also a big mention on the swim to go around the buoy before getting out of the water. That said- i loved it :)

Would have appreciated this being made aware to us prior to the race or tests being completed to ensure the river was safe.

We can confirm that a water test was carried out before the event (as per British Triathlon guidelines) The test results were shared in the pre event information and the results were a pass.
