Great local community event. Fun 5K around Fashion Island with a St. Patrick's Day theme. Great race announcers, race support and race festival area following the run. Festive St. Patrick's Day themed medal.

It was a lot of fun! Getting a bib in the morning was super easy and stress free compared to other 5ks I've been a part of. Staff were friendly, and everything was easy to find. Great experience overall!

Plus: staff happy and trying hard; gorgeous day; flat fast route; proceeds go towards kids. Minus: no race photographers to take our picture; organizers changed start time the morning of the race; start of walking 5k never really happened, people just started walking after the kids run; pace clocks not turned on; no direction signage on the route; finish area only had green bananas and water; vendor selection poor (no runner clubs, stores, or health providers); event communication repeatedly said discounts expire but they never actually expired. As a resident, I’ve participated in many CdM oriented runs, this one was my least favorite by far.
