I missed the inaugural race last year, gutted as it looked to be a cracking event.
Fast forward 12 months and I've finally run this beautiful course.
From start to finish, each mile brings with it, its own challenge, whether it's a climb or attention to focus, it's perfect for stretching your legs in your training - especially for the Great North Run.
The organisation is fantastic, the support and the volunteers are outstanding, with a welcomed drinks station at the 3.5 and 6.5-mile check points.
Another brilliant event that's set up by Luke - I'll be back next year for sure!
