I’ve done this race before so knew what to expect. It was as good as ever but there are two points I want to make:
I ordered a size small t-shirt but when I went to collect it the size small ones had all gone. I had to take a size medium which is far too big and so I will never wear it. This was so disappointing for me. I can only conclude that some people were allowed to swap their size medium for a small before the end of the race. I feel strongly that swapping t-shirts should not be allowed until AFTER the race is over. How unfair it is for someone like me (a slow but determined runner) not to have a t-shirt to wear at the end of the race. I hope you can feel my pain because I was and am genuinely disappointed!
Total absence of any vegan snacks in the goody bag. A banana or bag of raisins would have been so welcome. There were a lot of vegans running this year due to the Vegan Runners AGM being held in Sheffield at the weekend so I wasn’t the only one who was disappointed.

I really enjoyed running the Sheffield 10k. Clear km markers helped me stay on track to achieve my goal time. The crowds made a huge difference to my enjoyment of the race.
I was disappointed that all four edible items included in the race bag given out at the end contained dairy. I would have liked to eat something after finishing the race but had to find an alternative. Something simple like a banana or a pack of raisins without added milk would have been appreciated. I've experienced the same problem at other RunForAll events.
