Having swum in numerous open water events, lakes, rivers and sea, i can unashamedly say this was the best.  The variety of swim distances covered over the two days enabled swimmers to gain confidence and challenge themselves, within a safe and supportive environment.  The camaraderie amongst the swimmers was closely matched by the stunning clear waters and magnificent scenery. This is an event i would strongly recommend to all others!

Superbly organized event.  It could not have been safer, with 7 kayaks per pod and multiple support boats.  Great care was taken to ensure that skins swimmers could stay warm when not swimming.  The feed stations (aka flapjack and brownies) after each swim were well provisioned and extremely tasty.  Special mention should be made of the "Jelly Baby Man" who greeted us on Samson Bar.

As for the sense of achievement, it was magnificent.  It is always great to swim point to point rather than round and round and swimming from island to island is so exhilarating.

This was my first athletic challenge and found the whole experience brilliant. The organisation was excellent and everyone supportive and friendly. I never felt unsafe or unsure at anytime. The location is fabulous, possibly the most beautiful place in the UK with crystal clear water and glittering white beaches. The event party was great too. Highly recommended.
