For me, the cafe course this year had the right balance between enough tops with cairns/view points, but not too steep or challenging. It’s nice seeing the area becoming slightly less of a green desert. Particularly enjoyed seeing the new birch woods on the eastern side of the valley on day 2 and plantations being replaced by mixed forest. I used the recommended route most of the time, but used less direct (and I think both easier and faster) descents on day 1 and 2.

Love the social element of this event & that you can catch up with the same people every year! The beer & food was excellent as always. Loved the post run yoga & massages! Plus excellent amount of seating areas, indoor & out. Staff as always happy to help & chat. Fab event wish there was one a bit further south, maybe in the Peaks or Wales! As that’s the only downside it’s a long drive up from London on a bank holiday weekend!!!

More food vendors the burger area could not keep up and after waiting 40mins chips were half cold, didn't seem like people knew what they were doing . Maps are from Harvey and have an awkward scale, because of such large print not enough details is shown, would of preferred os maps and separate paper copies for each day, also didn't like gpx files were used, I saw to many people following gpx files. Maybe some gas heaters around the tents in the evening
