The course was perfectly marked, and the entire event was flawlessly managed. Highly recommended!. 400 Santa's plodding along as this is not a race & can be walked, its a sight to see. Even better if you are actually taking part in it. Medal is the best yet.

Previously I organised this event however I left my job and it was managed by someone else so perhaps the review is a little biased, however its a fantastic festive event. Its not a race and no times are published however it has the same atmosphere, there are a couple of junction crossings which are managed with stop and cross by santas helpers and a run through the town centre is amazing where Saturday market shoppers stop and cheer and informally create a corridor to run through the parade. the event theme takes you around the green and church yard before looping past the town centre passing many local shops to create a close and well supported fun run. the finish is back at the leisure centre where a party is laid on with fresh mince pies and homemade alcohol free mulled wine, often provided by local sponsors. fully recommend this event as all its profits are split between local charities too.
