Unbelievable event, the amount of hard work and effort that went into making this is truly above and beyond. From the race directors to the volunteers there was nothing but pure passion and energy. Thank you to all involved for making every runner feel special and looked after! The only improvement I would suggest is a bigger shaded area for supporters. For us runners it was absolutely ideal. 3 pools and an ice bath!!! Next level hospitality- never experienced this at a race before. Well done and thank you to everyone involved.

Brutally amazing race. What really stood out were the amazing and helpful aid station volunteers, without whom the finish would never have been in sight.

I was disappointed with the final results and the way the finish was recorded. Based on the tracking platform and feedback from other participants, it appears that I finished 3rd in the Ladies 100km. However, another participant who finished after me was announced as the third-place winner, which meant that I did not have the opportunity to be recognised on the podium. I raised the discrepancy after the event and I have received an email confirming my 3rd place position but so far there has been no public clarification or correction on The Run’s social media pages. I appreciate that these situations can sometimes be complicated to resolve, and I am simply asking for the results to be reviewed fairly and, if the tracking information confirms my position, for the results and podium recognition to be corrected accordingly. I hope this matter can be resolved constructively and that the appropriate recognition can be given to all participants based on the official race results.

The Salt Pans Ultra was once again a highlight on my race calendar. It is such a unique event with spectacular scenery and beautiful boabab trees - which are my favourite tree! The race is exceptionally well organised and the catering is top class! Due to the nature of the race with extreme heat, they have more than adequate safety measures in place with a top class field of Doctors and Medics. This race should be on everyone's bucket list!!
