Great course, shame some of the markers were moved so I ran 2k further than I should have! Lovely Marshalls, very cheerful despite the cold 🥶😀 More coffee at the finish area would have been good. Would definitely do it again, thank you!

Awesome event! Definitely will be doing it every year now. Met some amazing people in some truly brutal conditions. I literally had ice hanging off my hat by the end!

A really well run event with a tough course (lots of ruts due to the military vehicles, which made for fun in the ice!) - make sure you have plenty of layers for this one. The food station was well stocked, and the course was thoroughly marked barring one issue of an arrow that had been moved (as the organisers said up-front, make sure you have a copy of the route!). This event was great. Tough going on very cut up trails. Thick fog and ice made navigation difficult but this was completely out of the organisers hands. I would say that it’s important to follow the kit list and make sure you have everything you need. It is quite wild. Overall, a beautiful place to run and very supportive staff on hand. I’d definitely run it again and recommend it to anyone.

I would definitely recommend this event and hoping to do others run by this organizer! It is a small event and these days that can be so much better! The team were responsive to email queries, all the marshalls and organizers out on the course (some of them even running it) were really friendly and supportive! The route was fun and challenging and I'm sure the scenery was lovely but it was hidden in the fog! The only disappointment was not seeing a tank!!
