What a stunning setting Tatton Park is for a race event.
I really enjoyed the half marathon the marshals really give you loads of encouragement whilst your running the race.
There plenty of water stations on your way round to and the locals people really cheer you on loads to.
Runthrough events are always very well organised and well thought through plus the medals and T-shirt's are awesome.
I would highly recommend there race events for all runners.

Ran my first ever 10k, the event was well organised, with enough marshals to make sure everyone went the correct way, the route was relatively flat, there are some inclines but they are not steep.
The weather was quite hot but I was happy with my time, finished under an hour, not the fastest time out there but something for me to aim to better in the future.
The flapjacks at the end were a welcome treat and there was a free massage but the queue was getting quite long. I would recommend this run and I will definitely run it again.

I found this run pretty decent as it was 2 laps of the same route. The run inside the park was nice and varied using paths and park trails to make up the route. There was 1 stretch (done twice) which was on road, the rest in the park. Safe for spectators and runnners and gave a chance to beat the 1st lap with the 2nd lap!
All in all nice race. 1st half for a while and under 2 hours. Next one aiming for 1:45

What a picturesque course, I have been here many times but saw bits I have never seen before!
2017 was a delight to run and the weather even held out!
The course was slightly congested at a couple of points where you doubled back on yourself but other than that it was very wide.
Not a PB course but enjoyable to run

After last years teething problems over getting into the venue in time for the start, this year was faultless. The mashalls were really second to none and got everyone in without any issues at all.
The race itself is now one of my favourite throughout the year (and I take part in 12 halfs every year) with the venue supplying stunning countryside to run through and first class oragnisation.
When taking part in an event the feeling of being safe is very important and this race makes you feel safe and secure throughout. The brief time on the road is perfectly marshalled as all the way through the park.
A bespoke medal and t-shirt along with the post race massage make this a stunning event.
Well done on making the improvements from last year. It's now close to perfect!

always a good race to do if you are not used to hills , nice and flat.
Wasnt much support here this year but it was quite cold!
The only downside to this race for me is having to come back on yourself a couple of times, just something I don’t personally like.
All in in all though a great race and you should definitely get a PB

The weather was better than expected and, although cold in the first half, it was dry. It was fab to see huge numbers of deer in the park as we arrived, and there was also a live singer creating atmosphere in the tented area.
Parking was free and close to the start, and there were plenty of loos. The event warm up was fun and very clear. When the race got started, most of the paths were good and the marshals were fantastic.
The start and the end were the trickiest parts of this event. Near the start, there was a covered cattle grid where someone tripped- she was ok -and there were marshals on hand to check her wellbeing. There was some congestion on the first out and back section and it was possible to trip on the cones used to separate the runners in each direction. There were also some significant holes in the tarmac in some places and it was difficult to sprint for the finish as the last 400m changed to trail path and grass from the easier tarmac we had previously enjoyed.
This event gave excellent flapjacks amongst the goodies, and Tatton Park is a beautiful venue for an outdoor event. The cafe was a welcoming and warm sanctuary after the effort of the race and the marshals deserve a second mention!
