This was my first race back since before the first lockdown, and I was a little wary - but there were plenty of measures in place to make you feel safe. Great atmosphere in the event village before the start, and we were well instructed. The course was quite loopy, but we were well directed by marshals - mostly with bells! - creating an upbeat atmosphere. The bridges felt steeper each time I crossed them, but the Quays does make for spectacular views to distract you (great for after photos too) as well as the grand BBC buildings. Trams drop you off right by the event village. This is a run I would definitely like to do again!

This race is ran around Media City, home of the BBC and ITV, it course consists of laps, the number of which depends on which distance you are running. There isn't much support around the course but it is really well organised and the marshals are fantastic.
Water is available after each lap, and when you finish along with the medal and usual goodies.
Ran this a few times and I will be back again.
