Lovely debut race in Skibbereen, and well done to the organisers. I'd possibly put the communication, toilets and bag at 4.5 stars if I'm honest as there really wasn't a central place online to check the course map easily, there was no race information in the swag bag and ther...

Lovely debut race in Skibbereen, and well done to the organisers. I'd possibly put the communication, toilets and bag at 4.5 stars if I'm honest as there really wasn't a central place online to check the course map easily, there was no race information in the swag bag and there was huge confusion over toilets and who could use what at the facilities (many a runner abandoned the queue to get to the start on-time, which was located further away than anticipated). Km markers would have been great too, and clear signs about rubbish on the course after the water station. (A drop point further along to centralise it perhaps) But these are small things and overall I really enjoyed it, so thank you to everyone involved! 5 stars!

I really enjoyed the race on Sunday. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful route. there was a nice mix of flat ground, hills and downhill but not too steep. there was a great atmosphere and plenty of water stations. there was a lot of volunteers which made the event more succes...

I really enjoyed the race on Sunday. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful route. there was a nice mix of flat ground, hills and downhill but not too steep. there was a great atmosphere and plenty of water stations. there was a lot of volunteers which made the event more successful. The tops and medals are nice. and the overall organisation was fantastic. There was adequate parking, maybe could have done with more toilet facilities. Lovely food and coffee trucks by the finished line and commentary and music. Overall a great run and I would do it again.

Very well run event, loads of Stewards. Great buzz at the finish line& lovely festival atmosphere. I think the only. Change I would make are three points . 1. The loud speaker at the beginning of the safety brief couldn’t be heard& I was near the top. 2. Personally after doing lots of races I prefer the sml kids size of bottles at the water stations not the cups. They are too hard to drink running& one ends up slowing down too much. 3. Also to make it easier for the cleanup afterwards putting a few green wheelies bins a few metres away from water stations where runners can throw cups into would be better. 4. Not easy or inexpensive to do I know but an athlete tracker would be great in time.

This was a really well run race with great support along the route and fantastic and appropriate after race snacks. For next year,it would be great if there were bottles of water instead of cups on the route as taking on water from cups while running a race is very difficult and for a summer race,particularly a half marathon,the water was essential!Well done on a fantastic inaugural event which I look forward to partaking in again next year!

As well organised as could have been for the most part. Only major gripe was that as the last to finish, I could physically see the last steward taking off her bib and going home, about a mile from the finish. Close enough to see her, but too far for me to get to her, meaning I ...

As well organised as could have been for the most part. Only major gripe was that as the last to finish, I could physically see the last steward taking off her bib and going home, about a mile from the finish. Close enough to see her, but too far for me to get to her, meaning I went the wrong way. If it wasn't for the woman in the car bringing up the rear , I would have been totally lost.

This was a super event and a very enjoyable day out. It was really well run and there was a lovely atmosphere throughout the day. Everybody working/ volunteering was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be back! Thank you
