The following measures are in place to ensure Run to the Sea Brighton remains a safe event for all in attendance.
The NEW Run to the Sea Brighton takes place on Saturday June 5th 2021.
Our 50km multi terrain route is beautiful and a tale of two halves. From your start near Horsham, the first half takes in firm trails through rural West Sussex to reach the South Downs Way. It’s actually slightly downhill until this point!
At halfway the route climbs up onto the Downs where you'll pick up your first views of the sea. After the incredible scenery of the Devils Dyke, the rolling trails will see you venture into the northern outskirts of Brighton, passing farms & windmills and cutting through green spaces all of the way to the seafront at Hove.
Your final 6km is flat along the wonderful seafront, passing the famous Pavilion & Pier before reaching the finish at Brighton Marina.
Of course, as you would expect after our Gold Award winning Bournemouth event, there'll be medals, souvenirs, prizes, a fully signed course, feed stations approx every 10km, and a lot more.
You have the option to park at the finish end of the run (Brighton) and use our pre race shuttle service to the start.
We'll have generous time limits in place, so you can take your time if you'd like to; this is a perfect event for runners new to the world of the ultra marathon.
Bundle entry offers are available with our Run to the Sea Bournemouth event on March 27th.

Brilliant race. Absolutely loved it. Two very different halves, flat & then hilly. But both equally as beautiful. Well organised. I'll be back for more next year.
Race was great start to finish very well Organized And great Volunteers were encouraging at all of checkpoints.
