Exciting experience to get to run on the famous Silverstone race circuit. It was just a shame that due to covid-19 I had to run this just a week after London marathon rather than when it had previously been planned. It wasn't their fault, just how it panned out. Great experience...

It was just a shame that due to covid-19 I had to run this just a week after London marathon rather than when it had previously been planned. It wasn't their fault, just how it panned out. Great experience and I'd do it again.

Wow! What a place to run! The home of formula one! Even if your not a fan it’s a perfect place to run! Most of the surface is super smooth tarmac, as you run most of the track (some of it twice). The final part is particularly nice, the last 2 miles roughly are back on the track....

Wow! What a place to run! The home of formula one! Even if your not a fan it’s a perfect place to run! Most of the surface is super smooth tarmac, as you run most of the track (some of it twice). The final part is particularly nice, the last 2 miles roughly are back on the track. It’s flat…ish. A few small incline and declines…but they are minor and two times you have to go up and over two different bridges which go over the track. Really interesting and unique course There was a lot of spectators there and when you come back close to the start/finish line at different points is nice to hear the crowds but most of the time you can hear them. It is nice that when your in the servic roads in the middle of the track you can see runners everywhere Parking was very straight forward and there was loads! The toilet situation was refreshingly easy as plenty are supplied! Marshall’s and staff very friendly The medal was cool and was happy to see each distance had there own ribbon which is not always the case The only disappointment was the lack of finishers t-shirt as an event like this would have been amazing to have an F1 style t-shirt and the snacks at the end was poor with just a couple of bars to choose from. I believe however gels was given out on the run but I didn’t take any so can 100% confirm. Also you have to pay for the photographs which is a real shame! I’ll definately do it again as really enjoyed

This was my first official 10k race so was very nervous. It was a very well organised event everyone was kind and friendly. The route was well sign posted and everything ran really smoothly from arriving to leaving. Even the commentator was funny. I would highly recom...

This was my first official 10k race so was very nervous. It was a very well organised event everyone was kind and friendly. The route was well sign posted and everything ran really smoothly from arriving to leaving. Even the commentator was funny.
I would highly recommend this event and plan to enter again next year.

I really enjoyed this event. My sister and I were last in the half marathon but that didn't take away our experience. We felt like royality when we crossed the finish line and also the lady on the bike following us and checking in with us motivated us to keep goin...

I really enjoyed this event. My sister and I were last in the half marathon but that didn't take away our experience. We felt like royality when we crossed the finish line and also the lady on the bike following us and checking in with us motivated us to keep going and we couldn't of done it without her.

I would highly recommend this event to anyone!

Really enjoyed the 10km race at Silverstone. There were so many more people than I expected but despite this, collecting my race number was fast and efficient. No issues. The pre race info helped prepare me for the start line in terms of starting pens which were also straight for...

Really enjoyed the 10km race at Silverstone. There were so many more people than I expected but despite this, collecting my race number was fast and efficient. No issues. The pre race info helped prepare me for the start line in terms of starting pens which were also straight forward and caused no issues. All ran like clockwork and I think a lot of this came down to the organisers and fantastic marshals. As there were three distances to choose from on the day, there were a few route splits but no confusion. Would highly recommend.

My first in person event ever, and it was easy to work out what I needed to do from the pre-event emails. Course was great, marshals were great. Walk from car parks is a bit of a hike but , worth it. I will be at the next one....
