First time doing this half, lovely course, long sleeved top at the finish was class, food and medal was lovely, very simply done and it worked, well done.

Water stations. For the half marathon there is a large gap from the start to the first water station. Potentially have a water station earlier in the run which will also be there for later in the run towards the end

Very well organised race in a stunning location. Be prepared for the hills but they are totally runable...we were delighted to be serenaded by two Scottish bagpipers en route out the cliffs which really added to the atmosphere. Great swag at the end especially the great long-slee...

Very well organised race in a stunning location. Be prepared for the hills but they are totally runable...we were delighted to be serenaded by two Scottish bagpipers en route out the cliffs which really added to the atmosphere. Great swag at the end especially the great long-sleeved shirt, and the post race refuelling bits and pieces were great. Loved that this was a small race and hence space to run and chats to be had with other runners. Highly recommend this one.

The race itself was very enjoyable and rewarding, however challenging but the one issue I had was the course fell a few meters short of the half marathon 21.1km distance. Myself and a lot of other participants logged under the 21.1km, resulting in PBs not being recognised on strava, garmin, runna. It's not the end of the world of course but something I wanted to raise.

It was a tough route especially the first 5km. Fantastic scenery and despite the rain and wind there was a lovely atmosphere. Would have liked and earlier start time and maybe a quarter zip for the 10kers would be an idea 💡 for 2027. Ill definitely be back next year.

Felt very unsafe. Dod same race in 2025 and that was not an issue. Not sure what happened this year but it was not safe.

To everyone that organised this year's and past events this years event has been my favourite even though it drizzled the atmosphere was still very upbeat. The after event in the tent was just unreal and what a way to celebrate. Hope it comes back next year 🙏
