It’s a great event well worth doing , lovely staff and Marshalls and great flat pretty course. Lots of parking . Things not so go are the start is very narrow so if people are faster overtaking becomes difficult , I saw a few people running off the path to overtake and nearly twisting ankles ! I really feel the half should start at 9 and the 10k 9.30 , this would help . Also the finishing area is too crowded and dangerous , some are going for a sprint finish and it’s easy to run into people . That area should be kept well clear .

A well organised event at a great venue. I did the half marathon which involved two laps of a flat and scenic course. Route was well marked with signs and friendly marshalls. Overall a great experience and fun to see the canoe / kayak course in full flow, looks great fun!
