Personally the option of being able to register the day before would have been preferable for logistics, location of start compared to finish and parking fees. Great route and well manned aid stations. Voice navigation was perfect (i wish i had switched it on sooner!) - great if you are a little unsure of the self navigation part or a little nervous of running alone - really helped make it a much more accessible to all event. I have some feedback - there was a mandatory kit list published which most athletes adhered to - however, there were a number who were carrying nothing more than a bumbag with a few gels or their music. If the kit list is marked as mandatory in the event pack then it needs to be enforced to make the race fair and safe for all. If there is change to these requirements prior to the race then this needs to be communicated to all competitors so they can choose whether they want to carry more than their tracker and nutrition. Aside from this, many of us didn't receive the race briefing link prior to the race, and whilst this wasn't an issue on the day there may have been some vital information that someone may have needed before taking part, so whatever format this was sent in needs to be looked at so everyone receives it in future. Overall, a really nice event, great route and recommended.

Staff were really friendly and the course was beautiful (although SO HILLY). The self-navigation app not always super responsive and there was minimal signage, which added an extra 2.5k to my distance because I got lost (although potentially user error there). Would have also been really good to have portaloos at the aid stations as there were no toilets I could see along the route, and potentially nice to have a couple of extra aid stations in general. Overall, a lovely event, but toilets would be a big plus!

Extremely friendly and accommodating organisers. Everybody involved made the event feel very welcoming and the guys go out of their way to make it a great experience for each runner. The course itself is spectacular and you get to take in a lot of nice sights and surroundings. I cannot fault any aspect.

Lovely route and bus to the start was perfectly timed as only 10 mins to wait at the start. There were 2 aid stations. It was quite hot so 2 more would have been great. The route is not marked by the event team. You can download the route however my phone/ watch didn't work so luckily AllTrails had the route so I was able to follow. Lovely medal. At the Finnish, lots of nibbles, but as I'm gluten free, not much for me, but this is the same anywhere. Not too hilly. Would def recommend this
