Thanks Samuel. Good suggestion on vegetarian options as the eggs and sausage would not be fitting for vegans. We will look to add some vegan based protein options at future events.

Thanks Mike. From surveying our participants, we have found that most people prefer the softstyle t-shirts we provide at our races which is why we offer these but will certainly consider again for 2026.

Thanks for the feedback Juliette. Completely understand the concerns over the trail run leading to you ranking safety a little lower which we understand. The trail run has been a signature aspect of this race for many years that so many people love though we know it does make the course more challenging. We tried our best to mark any hazards on the course and make it as safe as possible and will discuss ways we can do this even better next year!!

Not enough porta potties/bathroom facilities. Not enough lighting in transition for serup. Furthermore, if swim had been held, with twilight at 6:38 and tace brief at swim start at 6:45, would necessitate walking the trails in the dark. Recommend race start closer to 7:30 to enable getting to the start with natural light. Only one body marker - need more. Good job adapting course to river and flood conditions. Staff and volunteers were great. Will do this race again.

Over 50 triathlons participant here. Never did one where we walked a path thru the woods in the dark to the swim start. Like a point to point swim. Very impressed of organization, safety, number/attitude of volunteers, setup, police... Seemed like they thought of everything. Thank you for bringing this event back. Main reason I did it was it was local to me and seemed like an inaugural event. Very impressed and highly recommend!
