Tough course, the colder weather made the swim a bit chilly then the bike ride was hilly. I always find the run difficult so can’t really comment fairly on that.

A thoroughly fantastic event. Organised flawlessly as ever. Swim was spot on, and easy to sight etc. Bike was a challenging route, but plenty of time to get the hammer down!! The run was a fairly flat trail route, with some nice detours through the forest which made it unusual...

Well run, friendly event. Great course. Easy to pick up bottles from volunteers during the bike leg and plenty of aid stations on the run but had to stop to collect gels, fluids etc. Lots of parking but had to pay for it

Really good event, staff were very helpful from registration through to leaving making sure everything was clear. The scenery on the route was very nice but the course was fairly demanding with hills. My first event this distance though and felt confident , well informed and safe all the way round. Did miss one turning on the first lap of the run route (left to go up round the back of the cafe), someone there would be helpful

The run route was beautiful. Potentially a few more marshals on this bit but was well marked and easy to follow. Only grumble is the state of the roads. I know this is not sportivas fault and to be fair it was all highlighted when the horrendous sections were. So that on sportivas part was well done. Just be wary for future participants just be aware of the roads I am looking forward very much to doing this event again next year

As we may have mentioned we bumped into a Devon Highways van while we were course marking which was surveying some of the potholes. So fingers crossed for some resurfacing by next year.
