This was my first open water swim event with Sportiva and as with their other events they are friendly, well organised and felt open to all capabilities. Thank you to all the paddlers who supported the swimmers out onto the water. - your encouragements went a really long way to get me through a tough swim and I felt really safe.

Friendly and helpful volunteers. I struggled a bit sighting the turn bouys despite being experienced in open water swims. Perhaps they could be larger or have less distance between them.

The staff were amazing and supportive. If I could change one thing I would have had the swimmers set off mid morning. 4pm is late and air temp drops meaning not a lot of hanging around to celebrate and felt time bound due to being so late in the day. That being said, amazing even...

Yes we can't understand why the cafe can't stay open later. We'll probably start the swims an hour earlier next year & try and persuade the cafe to stay open.

There was no where to get changed to avoid the rain. A couple of gazebos would have helped significantly. The bag drop area was exposed to the elements. Again, they needed to be under cover. Aside from that the event was excellent. The access and egress point into the lake was q...

There was no where to get changed to avoid the rain. A couple of gazebos would have helped significantly. The bag drop area was exposed to the elements. Again, they needed to be under cover. Aside from that the event was excellent. The access and egress point into the lake was quite steep, and the rope to help you out at the end was hard work.
