The event had I believe 5 or 6 aid stations during the course with plenty of food and water. The Moroccans helping out were super friendly and supportive during the whole events. Some minor things are being added next year like water at some the non aid station checkpoints just ...

The event had I believe 5 or 6 aid stations during the course with plenty of food and water. The Moroccans helping out were super friendly and supportive during the whole events. Some minor things are being added next year like water at some the non aid station checkpoints just in case. Despite bad weather at the end felt incredibly safe the whole time.

I was a part of the support crew at Rise Ultra back in 2024 and had an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere itself, working with amazing people and the beautiful morrocan landscapes made it truly special. Getting to work closely with the local communities affected by the earthquake made the experience even more meaningful. I loved being part of such an amazing team, supporting the runners and I am overall very grateful to have experienced and contributed to such an amazing project!

I first took part in rise Ultra in 2023, when we met the foundation’s team in person in Marrakech and they took us to visit the villages. From the very beginning, this was an incredibly emotional and meaningful project for me. In 2024, I returned as a volunteer to help with the race. Being able to participate and contribute has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. A heartfelt thank you to Alex and the entire team for making it possible and letting me be part of something so special.
