My first PP Punk Panther event. Well stocked Checkpoints and friendly helpful Marshall’s. Fabulous cup of tea at the end and great hot food too to refuel! Only one congestion point at the start which we were warned about - didn’t affect the race at all. Thanks to PP and all the Marshalls who gave up their time to allow us to have a great and safe race. Loved it and will definitely be back for more! X

Loved the route I’m definitely going to sign up for next year, a lot of road but trail shoes were fine as most of the road was huge hills so walked anyway (was also super hot), I was worried there wasn’t a rest stop between 14 and 26 miles but they put another water stop on last ...

Loved the route I’m definitely going to sign up for next year, a lot of road but trail shoes were fine as most of the road was huge hills so walked anyway (was also super hot), I was worried there wasn’t a rest stop between 14 and 26 miles but they put another water stop on last minute at miles 20 which was appreciated! Everyone was really friendly and I only got lost once when I was distracted by the scenery not paying attention!

Punk Panther events are always really well organised and super supportive - this one was no exception. Great course - local but new to me with a mix of terrains. I particularly appreciated the extra water (and melon!) stations because of the heat.

Beautiful route, well marked. It had everything (a bit of hill, arable, livestock - all friendly, tiny piece of moorland, road, tracks, market towns, villages, cathedral, woods, canal and river). GPX was spot on. Marshall’s and check points knew exactly what you needed. Treated so well from the start to the finish, they couldn’t do enough for you. Lovely people everywhere. Wonderful atmosphere. A friendly inclusive event, highly recommend. 😃

I found this a great choice for race / organisation for my first race back in the UK. Very well organised event with a great community vibe. I didn’t expect the warm conditions but the organisers adapted well to ensure runners got through safely. Fantastic scenery and plenty of variation, albeit a bit more road than I’d like. Great way to finish running through the grounds of the abbey. The only way to go if you want to run through Yorkshire!
