Again this was an extremely well organised event. The route was well sign posted, friendly marshals and well stocked aid stations. Will 100% be with you again next year.

Took part in the event with my teenage son. The route was perfect, some unavoidable busier roads but few and far between. Super friendly event. Lovely jacket Soud at the end! When we got to the feed stop (not too slowly I dont think!) there were no chocolate or gels left, but we carried our own anyway so wasn’t a problem. Bikeman Dan helped sort out a minor gear issue quickly and was super helpful. All in all a great event

The organisation was superb... from the pre-event emails to the person doing the briefing on the megaphone & the people issuing your rider numbers. A special mention to the marshals out on the course - everyone was engaged, happy, helpful- probably the best marshals I've ever seen on a sportive (and I've done quite a lot of them). I didn't use the feed stations so unable to comment. It would have been lovely to have some tables & chairs outside so finishers could have sat down & ate their jacket potato (which was lovely btw) at the end

This was my first supportive and I loved every minute of it! Even if it was hilly! All the participants were amazing and friendly and there was a lot of marshals around that supported us and I just felt so proud that I did it and I would definitely do it again without a doubt! All the background workers and the organisers were also amazing as I was feeling a bit apprehensive at first so I kept emailing Rebecca and I must give her credit too because she made me feel like I had an alternative if I struggled with 100km I could easily switch to the 75km. But I did it! I did the 100km and I’m so happy I did it! I also raised £587 for a very good cause, I hope it helps and I’m proud of myself :) thank you every time who was in one’s in The ride the reservoir! Ur doing brill!

I love this event, perhaps hold it a bit later in the year as the weather was poor, perhaps to think about a change in route as it is more or less the same every year. I welcomed the increase too 100k but a 100 mile event may draw more cyclists

Last minute decision and after a fast response emailing the Birmingham Hospice team I signed up for the longer 100k ride on the morning of the event. Registration was really fast and easy and within 5 minutes I was ready to go. Pre race info was very clear and the route was better signposted than most larger scale events I’ve done so navigating the course was really easy! 2 fuel stops that were really well stocked and the marshals were all extremely friendly and helpful. The course was slightly more challenging than expected (4,200ft of climbing with most of that coming in the last 20 miles!). Course routes were sent out to those who signed up earlier but as I signed up on the day the hills were a surprise but a welcome challenge! Was very surprised to earn a medal and also some free food (very nice jacket potato with plenty of choice for toppings) since this was a charity ride to raise money for a brilliant cause and wasn’t expecting anything post race! Will definitely be returning next year!
