My first timed running event and I'll certainly be back for more!

Well marked and marshalled route with an epic aid station.

A small, friendly event and a great introduction to this kind of running for a relatively new lad! Mutual support amongst competitors was second to none.

A flat out and back of 4.4 miles which I managed four times in 3 hours. It was a six hour event, but I couldn't stay any longer as I had other responsibilities today.

I wouldn't hesitate to enter or recommend On The Whistle events in the future.

Another well organised turn up and run event organised by the OTW team. These events are just what I want from my running these days, having been a runner for 25+ years I just want to turn up and run in a safe environment. OTW events provide this. The atmosphere is friendly and non-competitive with all level of runners recognizing everyone's achievement. The aid station is always well stocked with sweet and savory treats and water bottles can be filled, if you don't like carrying a bottle the team will make sure your bottle is full when you return. This is the first time I have taken part in the Resolution Run and I was rewarded with a flat coastal run with a refreshing sea-breeze and views across the sea to Portsmouth. The route was safe and well marked and Sunday walkers provided a cheer or well done as we passed. In the end I completed four laps to receive the half marathon badge.

There’s no pressure on time, runners & organisers all had a friendly relaxed approach, definitely in the top 10 for me and the water & fuel station deserves a special mention as it was well stocked & catered for all, thank you OTW team 😊

A fantastic well organised and friendly event without pressure of having to run as fast as you can. Complete one lap running or walking to receive your unique medal. If you’re unsure whether to sign up on an On the Whistle event just do it, you won’t be disappointed.

Easy route to understand & great opportunity to see runners of all abilities. 👍

Another great event by the On The Whistle team the quick registration, good snacks at the aid station, and a nice medal made this good value, the only thing wrong it would’ve been good to have a few hills thrown in 😆

My first in the whistle event, and it didn't disappoint. I'd only heard good things about the organisation and smooth running of these events and what I'd heard was correct - it was a great event, even though there was a complication with the on site toilets this morning. The race brief was well given, telling us any hazards, where the route goes, where any first aiders will be, the length of the laps, how many laps to complete various distances. When we finished we were greeted with a big hug (or handshake) and the medals were personalised with a distance badge. Overall a fantastic event and definitely will be back for another.
