Well that was a challenge

23 miles of up and up and up and oh there was plenty down too. Beautiful start in little town by the castle. First few miles were on roads but from first steps views were breathtaking. The course was challenging. 13 miles of going up to the summit of Snowdon and then 10 to come down back again. We were so lucky with the weather. But this mean lots of more walkers enjoying their last summer days. However i didnt mind that. They all cheered us on and it was great fun.

Marshalls were amazing. All happy and very helpful. Once we were done with the mountain we had to climb back again to finish very challenging vertical km which was not easy on already tired legs. But then the fun of obstacles begun and with lots of jumping and swimming into the cold water lakes it was actually really refreshing. I dont think id think the same if the sun wouldnt be out though.

The finish was great. Photo taken ans soup (oh it tasted amazing) and beer was provided by all.

There were tents provided where we could get changed and cheap taxis which were taking people back to the start.

Overall this was amazingly well organised race. I dont really like obstacles but those were at the very end after all the running was done so I didn't mind having some fun.

The Snowdon is amazing place and to be able to run there was a privilege.

Recommended to all.

Just make sure you train. It is tough

An awesome event, beautiful views, tough challenge getting to the summit and ending with some excellent fun in the lake. I wasn't too well heading in to the event and also during (was very grateful for the cafe toilets at the summit!) but that didn't detract from a brilliantly organised and delivered event in one of the UKs most scenic places.

the trip up through the quarry in the vertical kilometre trashed what was left of my legs after 20 miles on the course but the views were spectacular.

the water obstacles were brilliant right at the end.
