One of the best half marathons around, whatever your speed. Fast, flat and friendly with plenty of marshals cheering runners on and a strong community vibe. Organised out of love, and it shows.

As a recent joiner to the club and a volunteer at the half, I was very pleasantly surprised with the amount of care and dedication that went into organising the race to ensure a safe and enjoyable for all participants, runners and volunteers alike. Everything was meticulously planned, leaving absolutely no room for confusion. On the day, the atmosphere was brilliant, and it was obvious everyone was having a great time...despite the cold weather. I'd highly recommend taking part and hope to be able to do it again next year.
