As my first trail running event I genuinely do not think I could have asked for a better time... Extremely well organised, an incredible route and a lovely crowd of people. A hugely enjoyable experience from start to finish. A well stocked start, finish and aid station along with a perfectly signposted route. Having not run on a trail before I was nervous about not following the correct route but genuinley everytime I stuck my head up from the pain cave there was an easy to follow sign in the perfect place. As a result, you can tell that the organisers have a passion for this event and take the time to put the event on properly but are still able to greet and assist throughout the whole day despite how much effort it mustg have been for them. Honestly a joy to experience and I will be recommending to all.

Loved this event. What a gorgeous route around Cranbourne Chase and up onto Martin Down with a couple of hill forts along the way. The route had a bit of all terrains and was incredibly varied so I was always excited to wonder what was around the next corner. Many stunning views. Aid stations were well stocked. As I am coming back from injury and needed to run slowly, I contacted the organiser Mike to ask if early starts were permitted and some of us were allowed this which took a lot of pressure off. Having the gpx route on my watch was incredibly useful as a kind member of public removed the signs on a short section. Lovely crowd of runners and top coffee van afterwards. This event really deserves to be popular

I loved this event, a great route, lovely marshals, good venue. Sadly not many runners taking part, maybe if the half marathon or 10k was in the Wiltshire off road league?? More people may enter?

This was my first 10k for some years and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The course was challenging enough to keep it interesting, countryside was lovely, weather was just right. There was good post-race chat. I will definitely be signing up for more of their events.

The event was great and the course was very good. The organisers were very helpful and the admin set up worked well. I was aware that some people went the wrong way but there were sufficient arrows if you concentrated. I would definitely do it again.

A beautiful trial marathon course through groves, woodland, and heathland. The views were stunning. Huge skies, buzzards, red kites. I was slightly anxious going through a field of very calm cows, which completely ignored me. Normally I shield myself by following other runners; no one was in sight on this occasion. The last 1.5 miles was uphill, which was tough on tired legs, but crossing the finishing line made it all worth while. Annoyingly, some prankster had changed/removed a couple of arrows at a road crossing so this was the first time I've was glad to have the gtx map on my phone to get myself back to the route. I also shared a short section of the route with off-roaders in their 4x4s , and it was very entertaining watching them go though huge muddy troughs (runners had a mud-free bank to go along). The other marathon runners were very supportive (they were much more experienced that me), and made me feel that I belong 🥰.
