Really fun race to do. A race for everyone. Lots of people walking. Maximum 1km to run at any time but mostly much less between obstacles. Great support with food and drink vans in the main area. Fun warm up and a bit of reflection of why you are all there. Lots of fun and v...

Really fun race to do. A race for everyone. Lots of people walking. Maximum 1km to run at any time but mostly much less between obstacles. Great support with food and drink vans in the main area.

Fun warm up and a bit of reflection of why you are all there. Lots of fun and very stinky after. Definitely needed for the day are baby wipes and carrier bags for your wet stuff. Parking was well marshalled and free for the event on the grass field.

This is the 2nd time I have completed Pretty Muddy at Swindon's Lydiard Park. Online registration is quick and easy, with race numbers arriving in the post well in advance.

A popular, well attended event which is well sign posted to the car park, starts with a couple of junior waves early on followed by muliple adult waves throughout the day.

There is an energetic warm-up before each wave to get you going!

Marshal supervision is well placed and not just at the obsticles which is good.

Standard race for life medal, water, brioche and shower gel sample at the end.

All in all a good experience raising money for a worthy cause.
