A 3 lap course, reasonably flat, enthusiastic marshalls and photographers good for challenging yourself.

Get a goody bag and a medal - good value for money

this is a 3-lap trot around the immediate area of the Olympic Stadium. Cheap to enter and easily done online. No fussy registration as you receive an email and just pick up a number on arrival. The meeting point is at the Podium cafe in the shadow of the ArceloMittal Orbit and the Olympic Stadium. I gave my name and was given a race number with built in chip timer.

bag drop was easy too. It's upstairs and you just detach the bag label from your race number and attach to your bag. With 300 people entered, it was a little busy in the stairs, but very efficient.

the route was pretty flat with a couple of undulations, but there are several cutbacks, so not that easy to PB if you're looking for that sort of course.

Marshals were frequent and generally cheery. Plenty of signage too, so easy to navigate.

Run takes in views of the Olympic stadium, the orbit and the aquatic centre, but it's all road and not much else to see at this time of year. Very few spectators, but it was chilly and wet, so no surprise!

Enjoyed the event and will be back!

Nice flat course and distance to start the running year. Only down side is not really any public support. Unique and inspirational surroundings.

First time running this particular race but one of many many times running the Olympic Park. This course was a zigzagging amble through QEOP on its nice modern flat surfaces. Ok, 700 people is a good amount, there is a secure bag drop, simple water table and this does come with a medal and a goodie bag. It is marketed as the "first saturday of the month" race and, given there are races most Sundays it is worth taking part in as an alternative to Parkrun.

I would recommend it to full out the race calendar for sure.
