Generally well organised as would be expected from Run Through events. I entered only a few days before. My email with event details, including number pick up arrangements, didn't arrive until the afternoon of the run, so I didn't see it pre race. That said, I knew the race loca...
Generally well organised as would be expected from Run Through events. I entered only a few days before. My email with event details, including number pick up arrangements, didn't arrive until the afternoon of the run, so I didn't see it pre race. That said, I knew the race location and times. I guessed where the event admin tent with numbers would be. So all was OK. The rest of the event was to a high standard. The race is split into a sub 20 minutes A race followed by an over 20 minutes B race. I was in the B race. A little bit congested at the start, not helped by members of the public wandering along the edge of the course. After a few hundred meters it thinned out and all was good. Well marshalled around some potential hazards, with friendly and supportive marshals. I enjoyed the race, probably because I had a good race with a very satisfying PB. It did however lack a bit of atmosphere. May be as it wasn't a huge entry list, plus no real build up. Fast and flat course, ideal to chase for a pb.
