I really enjoyed this race. I think the 5k needs to take a different route or start at a different. I had to run on the grass the last 2 miles of the 10k dodging what felt like 1000 5k runners. In addition, having to dodge all of the 5k runners made me second guess a few times if I was going the right way. All that being said, I feel like this was a great location for the race and the after party was cool!

Good event but there were a couple of logistical hiccups that could be fine-tuned for future races. Parking traffic control was so poorly managed, that we were late to the start line. There were not enough post race refreshments available. Despite completing the race ahead of multiple paced groups, there was no actual pumpkin spice coffee or hot chocolate to be had. We had a great time, and the course was easy. I would still consider doing it again.

This was my first half marathon. The course was great. The police did a fantastic job of blocking traffic for us at intersections. I felt safe the entire race. There were many aid stations, with water and Gatorade. It was a great race.

It’s a good race. Don’t expect to PR with this race since you’re sharing the same area as morning joggers and bikers along with the bottleneck going over the bridges. Still, a quality fun run with good swag. Will be back next year!!

I had a great run took 2nd place in my age group , all the complaints about aid stations and water stops are kinda hoopla I think , there were plenty of people cheering along the way plenty of water , I would say if your a runner competitive runner then you’ve already handled hyd...

Overall a good race! Need to offer xs shirts for ladies… runners are often petite. Could use more port a potties at the start. Would help if the after run booths/stations had better physical flow. Wish there was a place to pick up packet in Dallas.

While the event itself was fun, it was the worst course I have ran. You have about 2,800 runners amongst three events and event organizers felt that sidewalks were an appropriate path for so many runners. I was very surprised when the course turned on to narrow sidewalks. It felt that organizers were forced to make a Fort Worth race and had low expectations. Organizers could have done a lot better in planning. I would not run this event in the future nor would I recommend it to others.

The staff and everything was great the lines for the portables was crazy and the course was too congested as it is also a public trail. I saw a biker hit a runner both were at fault but there simply wasn’t enough room. The pacers were Some of the best and most encouraging ever
