It is a very nice event as the scenery is really beautiful. Communications was good. However, the event is not totally safe unfortunately. Roads should be close to traffic to prevent accident to the cyclist. Not join next year, I got a minor incident with unconscious motorists.

Thank you for your feedback. Sadly shutting roads is not an option as this would cost an absolute fortune and we would have to charge so much more to enter the event. Having run the event for some 13 years now it has allways gone smoothly without any issues.

Another great race from Rob, good event, good medal, hard work, but worth it. Special mention to the marshal at Henderson Road / Fort Cumberland Road junction - he was outstanding.

Rob always puts on a great duathlon, perfect for all levels, very well run, a friendly team, high standards of safety/ compliance. Very handy for us, living in Southsea. Important for Portsmouth to have Rob running this event.

This was my first official Duathlon event and I loved every minute of it! The set up was easy to navigate, instructions were clear, the routes were well thought out and the marshals were brilliant! We were kept safe by all involved, every volunteer was encouraging and cheerful despite the awful weather (although secretly rain is my best race weather 😁) As as always, the swag and medal were awesome and facilities were just as needed. I would recommend this race, and the company, to anybody, beginner or competitive; you won’t be disappointed. Thanks once again for putting another smile on my face and adding another medal to my collection.

Doesn’t matter the rain and the mud in transition area, everyone was smiling from the beginning to the end. As always Rob and his team delivered an awesome racing opportunity for the athletes! Thanks for all your hard work guys! Well done to all of those who got in this miserable...

The weather was absolutely pants for this race, but that didn’t dull the spirit and camaraderie of all the athletes, organisers, Marshalls and supporters. I love participating in Believe and Achieve Events. The pre event communication is always so thorough so I always have a pretty good idea of what to expect when I arrive on race day. The Marshalls are helpful and professional at the transition area - and really do give you the best support and motivation when you are out on the course - big thank you to all who stood for hours in the wind and rain to see us all round safely. I must mention the post race medal and goodies too. The team never fail to disappoint with their array of snacks, drinks and fantastic medals. The race timing solution was immediate as were the race photos. Links were sent for these too, post race. Other than the great British weather making an improvement for next year, I will be back to race again for sure next time.

This race it’s truly up there with my favourite- it’s always so well organised and so friendly … I do it every year and come away with an absolute buzz. It’s a great way to wake the legs for the start of the season All of the believe and achieve events are outstanding. They never fail to bring a smile on peoples faces PLUS the medals are amazing and the goodie bags are always rammed with delicious food Thank you - as always I’ll be back for more xx
