I attended the coastal weekend event with friends. From start to finish the races were very well organised. The marshals on course were very supportive, lots of encouragement. The routes were brilliant, various terrains over the 2 days. The medals, tshirt and post run treats were great. We've signed up again for next year. Thank you Rob and team. Had really good fun at these two half marathon events! Loved both of the routes, the different terrain and the coastal scenery. Even a first ever trip on the Hayling ferry The marshals were supportive and made it clear where to run , along with ample signage out on the courses. The medals never disappoint from Believe and Achieve and this time a bonus one for completing both races. Will definitely be signing up for 2025!

Excellent course, well directed with plenty of arrows and marshalls. Goody bag was great, the best out of other events I have done recently. Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend and will do it every year.

As an older lady I was worried I would be too slow and get lost but once I started I had no thoughts of not finishing the race. I saw the orange arrows and marshals were all kind and Helpful . So, I got across the stoney beach, through, and around puddles, and then the muddy beach and at the finish was laden with crisps, chocolate, chewys, fruit and water and surrounded by happy, smiley people. A Believe and Achieve race is always worth returning to the next year.

Completed the Portsmouth Half Marathon- Feb 2024 Communication, instructions, Marshalls etc all very good and helpful. Only complaint would be the ‘muddy beach’ part of the route. Due to heavy rainfall the night before running across grass, sand, mud were all very slippery and muddy. Could have been very easy to trip over and hurt yourself. As the race is still in the winter months perhaps it would be better not to run route this section? But other than that nothing but praise, will probably try Langstone next year. 4/5*
