An excellent event and an amazing medal and goody bag at the end. I did the 10k and it was fast and easy on the Promenade bit but more challenging on the shingle beach section. There's a slight congestion on the way back where the paths are narrow and you have to pass the slower runners and they're taking up both sides of the path. But other than that it was an excellent route and well organised. Highly recommended.

This was a lovely event. No fuss. Just run. It’s a course with varied terrain so more challenging than just a road race and so more variety to enjoy for views. It’s obviously well loved by regulars and local run clubs: unusually, as a lone runner, I found myself not speaking to anyone along the course as everyone ran with their group and friends but it was still a nice enjoyable atmosphere. Not cliquey - just obviously well loved by those who do it every year with each other!

Plenty of excellent marshalls, well organised and friendly. Good swag bag at the end. Not keen on the tiny extra bit on the 8 mile. It was tough doing that bit again- slightly longer on one of the other parts would help. Would probably do the 10k next time as no difference in the events and would take the depression of that extra doubling back out of it. Overall really well organised event, will do another of their events .

This is my second run at this event. I did the 10k last year and eight miles this year. The route is great, with really good views. The marshalls were all fabulous. I loved the medal and will be signing up again for next year. Also love that it supports a great cause. Thank you!
