As with last year I loved this event.
It is hilly and challenging, the course is beautiful though and the event is well organised and marshalled.
The support at the start and finish is good but given the course is very rural there aren't any spectators out on the route.

I ran this race today and overall was really impressed as a first timer. If you are looking for big budget fancy races this probably isn't for you, we started near a large dung pile!! That said the rest of the course is gorgeous, it is well organised, well marshalled and everyone is really friendly. If you like hills you'll love this race, if you don't then you'll learn to love them as they take you up to spectacular views. I'll be back next year hopefully to take on the half marathon.
