This was my 4th time doing this race. Things seemed a little bit dissorganised. Not in a bad way as I know how much hard work goes in to runnning mutliple events at a single location. Some of the athletes had a "rack" their bikes against a wall of a buliding as the bike racking was full, this didnt seem to be a problem for the guys as they had a bit more room, but it did make transtion a but untidy.
I almost missed a right turn on the bike course as the sign was a little smaller than Im used too, I should have gone around the route beforehand.
Overall, a great medal, run route is great, marshalls fantastic, swim is in a great pool. By no means a bad race experience just A bit more racking for those few athletes who didnt have room on the racking.

A smaller field this year. A great race, could be made better with more Marshalls at swim exit to the 500m run to T1 !! This was due to road works. On the plus side the dodgy section of road had 3 Marshalls manning it, but in the past this small section of lane was closed to cars for 2 hours. Overall a great race will do again

Having raced this event last year I was determined to come back and beat my time. But they had moved the transition area 400m across the cricket pitch. This ended up being useful as to allow me to get my bearings. The swim was 400m (indoor pool). The bike route was 18 miles (2 laps) with a a narrow section on a descent which ment we had to excercise extreme caution. The run was 3.1 mile a through the historic town of Sherborne. I PB'd. All in all a fantastic race.
