Second time venturing down to the Ottery 10km and well worth the journey. The organisers note it as 'flat' but the only flat bit was the cricket pitch at the start and end. Parking this year seemed pretty tight. I heard people were diverted away from the industrial site from ...
Second time venturing down to the Ottery 10km and well worth the journey. The organisers note it as 'flat' but the only flat bit was the cricket pitch at the start and end. Parking this year seemed pretty tight. I heard people were diverted away from the industrial site from 0905 onwards but there is ample parking elsewhere. Volunteers at parking and throughout the whole event were excellent. Registration was easy, just pick up your own number. Toilets for men were in the clubhouse and small so a bit of queue. the race itself is easy to navigate, loads of marshals and plenty of undulations. Not the easiest of courses to run. The saving grace being the downhill finish. Water station at 5km was welcomed. At the end we got water, banana and t-shirt. Great value for money, really well organised and would highly recommend.

This was a good 10k, quite hilly in places but good support from crowd/marshals. It's close to where I live so good to support local races.
