What a great race! The scenery was gorgeous, the route was well marked and the support at checkpoints was amazing, best I’ve ever experienced. Would definitely recommend!

It was a great event and very well organised! Really enjoyed such a beautiful route! Coaster and buff were a lovely keepsake at the end! Also enjoyed the massage! I would highly recommend this event!

This was my first marathon and it was hard but an absolutely stunning experience that I will never forget. The route takes you up and down many of the most beautiful hills and mountains in the Beacons. The volunteers at the checkpoints were lively too and overall everyone was supportive and friendly. The route got slightly congested on Pen y Fan as it was lovely weather but outside of that tourist trap the route was open and well marked.

Excellent event, awesome organisation and one of the most outstanding courses I’ve ever completed. It was challenging but totally worth it! Loved every minute. The organisers are brilliant and understand the runner and what is needed it makes the event even more special.

What can I say! Brutal but fair course taking in some epic climbs in the Brecon Beacons. Very friendly organisers, lovely marshals and feed station ladies! This is a race that you simply have to do if you love extreme races.

Thorougly enjoyed this event which had a great course with all the iconic Pen Y Fan and Beacon views. There was good variety of terrain from rough mountain paths to firetracks, with a couple of short road sections. You have to walk some of the ups because they’re so steep and the last hill at 20 miles is something else 😳. Everything was well marked and the marshalls were great with safety support from the Mountain Rescue, which was reassuring. For me it was a tough but enjoyable day and I’d certainly do another Off The Tarmac event.
