Sparklers at the starting line were a nice touch! We did this as a family, being on a trail was nice for the kids (7 and 8) we finished a minute past our goal at 46 mins. Loooong line for post race food and only sanwhiches and none alcohol beer. We wanted more family friendly options like Gatorade, gummies, chips, doughnuts, pizza etc. But it was fine. Parking was good and I loved the painted parking lines! (We do a lot of Spartans and they should definitely do this!). Over all 4 out of 5 stars! Great event. We signed up for the double so we ran the new years day 5K too and got a cool hat!.

It was a great race overall! I would suggest a timer visible at the finish line and moving the kids dash to a location that doesn't connect with the 5K. We will be signing up again for next year!
