The event was well organised with great communication (via email) leading up to the event. Route was well signposted (although I did nearly miss a couple of the arrows). Staff at all the feed stops we’re really friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of snacks and drinks. If I had to have a little moan then I would have to say I was disappointed at the finish line not to have any food or drink venders within the castle grounds (even tho I received an email which said about enjoying a drink and pizza after the event). I would definitely do the event again and would recommend to others.

This was a really friendly Sportive both from the staff and the other participants. It is a pretty flat route through lots of rolling countryside. I am going to sign up for next year as soon as I finish this review.

Overall excellent and really enjoyed it. Staff helpful and friendly, good route, nice medal. There was no veg food as specified at the feed stop bar cheese savoury rolls. I did ask. Just a minor point to be fair but glad I brought my own but would rather not have to carry it!

This was a lovely low key event. I did the short ride with fewer entrants than the longer two. The scenery was picturesque on country roads and the food stop was in a lovely location. Vegan and vegetarian food was easily accessible. There were a couple of turns we felt could have been better signposted where the arrow was in the road being turned into rather than opposite, but we managed OK. I'll be back to give the longer route a try and I'd recommend the event. There was plenty of info sent to us before the event, and having contacted the company with a query before entering, I received a prompt response. Thank you.

Another superb event thanks to Matt and his great team. Maybe a few more green arrows on the short route long stretch roads. Being a slow coach I thought a couple of times that I may have missed a turn or something thinking that I’d been on the same road for a while. Maybe a burger/sandwhich type van back at the Castle. Nice naughty muffins and food at the feed station. Overall a lovely event as always. Lovely staff and fellow riders. Thanks everyone.

No toilets at the start for us early starters. That is unforgiveable.

Hi Dominic, the toilets on site at both the car park and the Castle were supposed to be open and as soon as we found that they weren’t we were on the phone trying to rectify the situation
