Brought a team from a small trust of schools. Having taken my own son to secondary school English schools previously I was so impressed by all aspects of the day. Absolutely 1st class and our children from y3 to y 6 said it was their best day ever. Thank you so much-it was brilliant- course and distances were almost perfect and viewing and areas to set up tents were so spacious! Genuinely only areas for improvement were. 1. Make top of the first hill a bit wider to enable easier navigation for the children- too much of a bottle neck. 2. Team event should be top 4 or 5 not 10. Only big counties can win which isn’t fair. Major races such as inter counties, nationals etc only have top 3,4 or 5 so to have to have 10 to score is a bit excessive. Amazing , thank you. Jonathan Newman Headteacher,

Good event but there were a couple of hiccups that could be fine-tuned for future races. The course narrowing after the initial wide start was dangerous. Lots of kids fell and got injured. It ended up being concerned parents that moved the barriers and widened that section. One child in one race was hurt and there was no prompt medical assistance, again it was down to spectating parents to get help. More toilets would be great too. The negatives aside, it was a good event that we would attend again.
