this is a great run for someone trying to increase there mileage past a half marathon. it tests your stamina due to being hilly. support is always good from the surrounding villages. well organised. could do with using bottles at stations rather than cups as hard to drinnk from. overall run very successfully registration is easy. one tip allow time for parking as field can be boggy. 

Very well run event considering the battling of conditions on the day. Marshalls were excellent and well supported around the route. Facilities were good including just enough toilet facilities. The sound system was not clear within the hall, due to incorrect use of the microphone, so pre-race info on the day was not clear. However, emails and social media updates on the day and before were excellent and thorough. Excellent work from the marshalls with help for many off the muddy field.
A really enjoyable day despite the horror of the weather and some of the hills.

Naseby 1645 is different to the RUN of the mill , unusual distance yes, challenging yes, rewarding yes.
Its great event for those looking for spring marathon PB's get round this in one piece and you know you are in the right track.  That last 10km is one of the toughest you will do all year .

As usual Race Harborough pulled out all teh stops to make sure the event ran smoothly

Had a great 1st timer run, pre run apprehensive due to Storm Dennis, but great pre race notifications from Race Harborough.  On the day super organised, great volunteers and Marshall’s, x4 water/gel stops, hard conditions, but super race support! And who could expect organisers and volunteers to be helping many to leave the parking by pushing cars, great effort all!! Cannot expect more, I rate at 100% excellent, and lucky for us it’s a great local event!

This was my second time running the race, such a difference in the weather conditions to last year but still thoroughly enjoyed the course. I was very impressed with the race organisers and how helpful they were in assisting at the end of the race to get us out of the mud on the field. The marshalls were were friendly and supportive along the route. I look forward to running this race again next year, I lenjoyed the course and running the hills, definitely one of my favourite events.

This was my first experience of the Naseby 1645. Very easy to enter with plenty of info given up front. I sent a couple of emails a week or so before race day and both of these we responded to quickly and with the relevant info.  I received regular updates the last few days leading up to the event containing extra info, advice and suggestions as weather forecast was not looking good.  The route itself was a tough hilly one but scemery was amazing!  All marshalls at the start and on the course were absolutely amazing.  They couldnt have been more helpful, supportive or encouraging! Lovely medal and super atmosphere.  Really amazing day, will be entering this one again. Many thanks to all involved 🙂

The Race Harborough crew always put on a good event, and this was no exception. I've done this one before last year so I knew what to expect. It's a challenging course with several hills and a very steep escarpment to climb at about 10 miles, though it should be within the capabilities of anyone comfortable with half marathon distance. The route is all on roads, many closed to traffic for the race. The route is well sign-posted and the marshals were all friendly and supportive.

We did this year's event in appalling weather, but there were plenty of smiles in the hall afterwards. For someone looking for something a 'bit different' this is well worth considering.
