I registered for the Muddy Dash San Diego event for 3 participants, scheduled for May 2, 2026 at Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center. Less than 72 hours before the event, participants received notice that the event was postponed due to “issues with the original venue.” No confirme...
I registered for the Muddy Dash San Diego event for 3 participants, scheduled for May 2, 2026 at Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center. Less than 72 hours before the event, participants received notice that the event was postponed due to “issues with the original venue.” No confirmed replacement date or location was provided at that time. The organizer stated that tickets would automatically transfer to a future event within approximately 60 days, with no option for a refund despite the significant change to the event. I also contacted Bates Nut Farm directly and was informed they had not agreed to host the event, raising concerns that the event was advertised and sold before final venue confirmation. As of now, the originally scheduled event did not take place, no confirmed rescheduled event has been provided, and no refund has been issued. Based on my experience, buyers should be aware that the event may be subject to last-minute cancellation or postponement without refund options or confirmed alternatives.
