Great local event that supports a local school. The course is challenging but you get a real sense of achievement on completion. Well marshalled and organised event a must race to start your season after the winter.

Third time running Muddy Boots, so they must be doing something right! Didn’t appear to be as many runners as previous years which is a great shame as this is a really good event: Lovely course for a great cause, low-key but well organised, nice vibe at the start/finish area, decent bacon sarnies/cakes to buy at the end (or start if you’re not running), encouraging marshals and volunteers dotted around the well marked course. A mate was looking for a 10k to do in March, I told him about this one, so he signed up and dragged some work colleagues along too. They seemed to enjoy it too! My only suggestion would be to put a bin 50 yards after the water station to deposit your empty cup as it seemed wrong to drop it on the floor, despite a volunteer picking them up from the track.

Great event, thankyou very much for organising! The course was really well marked and very well marshalled 👏🏻 super friendly! No need for a medal, (maybe just for the kids race?) - save the cost of these for the school 😌

This was a great event - very well organised, enthusiastic and encouraging marshalls, interesting route and fantastic atmosphere. The start/finish area was well organised with plenty of space for spectators and runners. Altogether a great morning and I’d definitely do it again!
