Running past the Kremlin on a Sunday morning will be a memory that lives long in my running experience! A bucket list race for me didn’t disappoint! Yes the visa application is painful and Moscow is a big city to navigate around but it is a fascinating place and the race takes you on a wonderful tour around amazing sights! Has a big city marathon feel but lacks some of the slickness, baggage is a bit chaotic and the expo was miles away from the centre but overall the race was wonderful! Lovely medal, nice t-shirt and the expo once you got there was up there with the best!

The course is relatively easy but it seems it changes every year. You can enjoy great views of beautiful Moscow's various monuments. Regarding the logistics, there is some walking distance from the changing room area and start line and toilet locations are quite limited but suffi...
The course is relatively easy but it seems it changes every year. You can enjoy great views of beautiful Moscow's various monuments. Regarding the logistics, there is some walking distance from the changing room area and start line and toilet locations are quite limited but sufficient. In general, the whole event organization is good and I had not any measure issue. It is not a crowded event and you can enjoy your run with no any stress of people jumping in front of you or hard to by-pass others. I will recommend it!
