Marshals and all staff were excellent. Signposting on the course was spot on. Generally very well organised and enjoyable in a ‘type 2 fun’ way. Could have done with more loos available (unless there were more that I couldn’t find?).

This was my first triathlon as well as first open sea swim event and hence I was nervous to come into it. However all the staff were very nice and as soon as I got into the sea I loved it. I do not think I stopped smiling from the Start to Finish Line.

What a fantastic event! 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ I really enjoyed my first Minehead Sprint Triathlon, although it was definitely more challenging than I expected! 😂 Spent far too much time in transition trying to get the sand off my feet, forgot to change to the smaller front gear on my bike (not a clever idea on those hills! 🥵), and ended up walking up one particularly steep hill on the running course. 🤣 Plenty of lessons learnt! A huge thank you to the organisers and all the wonderful volunteers! 👏❤️ Everyone was so friendly, supportive and encouraging. The atmosphere was brilliant, and your smiles and cheers really helped, especially when I was struggling up those hills! I’m absolutely chuffed I made it to the finish line! Thank you all for such a lovely experience! I’ll definitely be back, hopefully a little faster and with better gear-changing skills! 🤣❤️

Brilliant event I will definitely be back-a great inclusive atmosphere the organiser was friendly and approachable and all the volunteers jolly and helpful. I brought my friend who was a novice ans she loved it too! I love the course and the Aussie exit style swim, my only suggestion (not criticism) would be for the age group prizes to roll down- so that the overall winners do not also get an age group prize and then more people get a prize! I was not sure how to answer the water quality question as I have no idea - was the water quality mentioned? I have been swimming in the Bristol Channel for years though so I don’t think about it!
