I'm a firm supporter of the MK5M, it's extremely well ran, it's friendly, it's the perfect race for inexperienced runners who are up to the distance. It's a very pretty course with fantastic marshals. I've only missed one race & I'm looking forward to the next race this year.

This is the 2nd time I have done this race. Well organised and very slick I have marked the race brief down due to speakers being very quite and unable to hear. Parking was good right on the cricket ground by the race HQ. Marshall's were outstanding and gave a lot of support. Aid station at half way had water and used biodegradable cups. Was a nice touch that they called out your name as you finish and the bespoke medal was nice to. Some nice support from locals. Roads were open but not to much traffic but good marshalling kept you well informed. There was some spot prizes at the end to so always a chance to walk away with more than just your medal. All in all great local run that I will return to 

 I was very impressed by how well everything was organised, having never taken part in the event before. It bests much larger events in London hands down on how perfectly everything worked, how friendly the organizers, marshals, volunteers, participants and crowd were, not to mention how wonderful the route was. Many thanks to everyone who worked hard to make this event such a success. On a personal note, thank you for making my first race after a 5year hiatus so pleasant, I'm already looking forward to next year and will try hard to do a bit better.
